We had coffee with a relative of mine, just yesterday, in a nice bar with tables outside. We were standing under a large umbrella, one of those of white thick canvas and, being in the city center, we were surrounded by big buildings built at the beginning of the last century: -Mussolini built this ones, here- commented he, with a proud tone topped with a hint of arrogance.

-I have a lot of foreign friends, a Palestinian, a Moroccan, an Albanian, but I don’t like foreigners coming here and not working. There are always some in the park: they drink beer and leave it lying around; they don’t work, they’re lazy and we must pay for them. Why do we have to welcome the criminals, the Nigerian mafia? -

-They lowered my pension last year, and they raised their welcome bonuses - We tried to talk some sense into him, but it was for nothing. This video is for you and for all those who think that the being a migrant is a choice; that we are not responsible for the conditions that force so many to risk their lives to reach Europe.
